I’m a “connector” – a term used for a “device connecting two wires to allow the flow electricity” or a “road which connects to a freeway” or a “software component that provides access” and possibly the card in poker that is useful in forming your winning hand! 

Whether it be my work as the Chair of the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce or in being the founder of A.L Resources, being a connector of people, resources and ideas is what I do. 

I have a Communication/Marketing degree from California State University Sacramento and a minor in Theatre Arts, but the experiences I use most are the jobs I held while putting myself through college. After graduation I joined “the circus” and managed political campaigns throughout California. In that decade I learned I can manage just about any big show - from a campaign to a convention.

Taking the print and mailing skills I acquired by coordinating statewide direct mail campaigns, I joined a small family-owned print company named Dome. For 26 years, I was a key employee as it became Northern California’s leading family-owned commercial printing company. I was a leading sales representative, customer service manager, marketing manager and chief morale officer.

When not working, I volunteer on many non-profit event committees and the family calendar is always full of “Mom’s at _______” but my husband Jeff, son David, daughter Emily and son-in-law Gage support me and settle me down. My family is creative in the garden, theatre, art, and a love of Halloween.
