What is a Death Cafe? A death cafe is where people get together to safely talk about death and dying. It is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. Our discussions are not intended to promote any religion or course of action and there is no cost.
Why host or attend a Death Cafe? To normalize the conversation about death, reduce the fear and break societal taboos. The goal is for people to talk about death while living. I facilitate the conversation, but the group is the guide!
